I can't like it...

I miss F.Y.E. I mean amazon.com is amazing, but I miss working at F.Y.E. and having everything I ever hoped and dreamed of right at my fingertips. Books, movies, music...instant gratification at its finest. I didn't have to pay for shipping or wait for my dream to be delivered.

My niece has started to say "I can't like it" when referring to things that she doesn't like, such as the new Buzz Lightyear blanket that Grammy made for her. I asked her if I could have it and she replied, "Kiedy can't like it", so apparently I don't like it either. Except that I love it. She'd rather lay in my bed and watch Toy Story. At this point, I'd rather have the blanket. Or Toy Story 2.

So, here's what I say: I can't like it -- "it" referring to not working at F.Y.E. But not just any F.Y.E. I want to work at my F.Y.E., the one that started it all. I tried to transfer, but a few hours on the weekend just wasn't going to be enough. I don't adjust to change all that well either, and now I know that I would've been working in the same mall that contains "Stalker-boy's Bookstore". I guess things worked out the way they were supposed to. But I still can't like it.

Not to say that I don't enjoy my current job, because I do...for the most part. It's just not F.Y.E. Which I miss, apparently.
