29 May 2012. Pretty flowers.   The next two are not pretty flowers, I realize this, but I like them, so there.

The doors were open and it smelled like leather inside.  I was tempted by the boot offer ...  An old-fashioned candy store had signs, as seen below, on every inch of wallspace.  I didn't have time to read all of them, but these were a few favorites.

29 May 2012 - I'm not usually a fan of animals in captivity, but they had giraffes.  And apparently I'm okay with giraffes in captivity.  It was wonderful.  There are some funky-looking animals in this world. Hyacinth Macaws. Siamang.  Also known as monkey? Saddle-Billed Stork.   Rhinoceros Iguana. A Kevin-bird from Disney Pixar's "Up". I don't actually know what its real name is. Giant Anteater.  I think Laura's question was: "What was God thinking?" Anaconda.  I don't actually like snakes, at all, but I was mildly fascinated by the texture of its skin. It made for a cool picture at least.  Green Basilisk.  No joke.  It really is a basilisk, although I don't think this one works for Voldemort. Rhinocerus Hornbill. Ring-Tailed Lemur. Clouded Leopard.  Adorable.  Brother's in the tree, Sister is chilling under the bamboo. Caribbean ...
